Professional Bio
Mr. Nordling is a native Kansan, and grew up in Osage City, Kansas.  Mr. Nordling received his B.A. in Psychology and an A.A. in Criminal Justice from Washburn University in 1996, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Mr. Nordling earned his Juris Doctorate, with Dean’s Honors, from Washburn University School of Law in 1999.  While in law school, Mr. Nordling served as a Research Assistant to Professor Ellen Byers.  During law school, Mr. Nordling also served as a Law Clerk for the 3rd Judicial District of Kansas, in Topeka, Kansas, working primarily with the Honorable Eric S. Rosen, who is currently a Justice of the Kansas Supreme Court.

Mr. Nordling began his legal career with an established general litigation firm in Salina, Kansas in August of 1999, and became a shareholder of that firm in January, 2004.   In 2009, Mr. Nordling and his family moved to the Kansas City area, and Mr. Nordling joined an established insurance defense firm practicing primarily in the areas of insurance defense, construction defect litigation and products liability.  In January 2012, Mr. Nordling joined a number of established partners from that firm in forming a new civil defense firm.  Mr. Nordling was a Member of such new LLC from its inception through April 2017 practicing primarily in the areas of insurance defense, commercial litigation and products liability.  In May 2017, Mr. Nordling joined Manz Swanson Hall Fogarty & Gellis, P.C. as Of Counsel.
